I just discovered another method to create this freeze: Steps to reproduce: 1 - Make sure the laptop/netbook is not connected to power and the network cable is not connected. 2 - Boot and login to Ubuntu 3 - Connect a network cable
If a nework cable is connected when the laptop/netbook is not connected to power, the computer freezes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/695375 Title: ubuntu crashes when unplugging power cable after unplugging network cable -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
