Is it possible that apport only works when a crash occurs while using as root. I've been using natty for almost 8 wks. and have never had a crash call apport except once, and then only if I specifically caused it as root. Ex. (using bzr as user bzr get https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-desktop/unity/ubuntu bzr: failed to report crash using apport: OSError(13, 'Permission denied') ect. ect. *** Bazaar has encountered an internal error.
