I'm another affected user. OS: Ubuntu 10.04.01 LTS. KVM: KVM Switch is 4 Port and I cannot find any name... Supporting Resolution up to 1920x1440.
OS with monitor connected via KVM switch goes to 1024x768 rather then to 1280x1024.
