Here's the deal, I just called nmbd with sudo service nmbd start and it loaded. I was able to see my machine on nautilus' network icon.
After a reboot, I go to /var/run/samba and the only active PID services are smbd and winbindd.... nmbd isn't up.. what can I do about it?
