Workaround: edit wireless connections and uncheck the 'Automatically connect' box of all 'Known Networks' except your preferred (home/office) one.
This is ok if you don't use too much your laptop on the move, but if the 'Other Known Network(s)' are fallback network(s), you will have to reconnect by specifically chosing it. One note: signal strength seems for now to be the key in WLAN prioritization. So better prioritization is definitely more on the papercuts list than on the wish-list. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/672541 Title: Dropped connection will reconnect to next known network, even if original network is available (lack of WLAN preference order feature) -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
