Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: dpkg
The package was located in the install package for AVG antivirus: AVG
Server Edition for Linux (avg85flx-r863-a3205.i386.deb). I selected for
the download window to open the package with GDEBI package installer
(Default), when completed. It did so, and the first error window said
that monitor4 could not be configured because it was already installed
and configured. I tried to install from the GDEBI window, again, and
the second error window (which was different) said that it just quit
because of too many errors. After I clicked the "close" button, the
second time, the GDEBI window froze and would not respond again. At
which point I used the force close application, to close the
application. I am using "Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - the Lucid Lynx - released
in April 2010 and supported until April 2013."
