Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gwibber
Gwibber-service is constantly using 100% CPU if I have no internet connection. It always uses way too much CPU-power for such a simple application (on startup or refresh), but if I have no internet connection (for example when I wake my laptop in the train) it just hangs at 100% use, so I have to kill the process. Using: Ubuntu 10.10 AMD64 (also had the problem with 32-bit build) kernel 2.6.35-24-generic Gwibber-service 2.32.2-0ubuntu2 laptop: Asus K50IN-SX149C CPU: C2D 2,2GHz full specs: http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/246185/asus-k50in-sx149c.html#tab:info ** Affects: gwibber (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/697006 Title: gwibber-service uses 100% CPU if not connected to internet -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
