Public bug reported:

I was installing 11.04 alpha 1.
What I expected to happen:  to be able to boot into 11.04 alpha 1
What happened instead:  It didn't work.  The installer crashed.  The error 
message said that the problem was due to a corruption of  libc6-dev and libc6.
