Sorry, as a typical user I forgot to finish or update the issue.I did
everything but I couldn't solve the problem.
I even start from re-install 10.04 and made the upgrade - fails on bootDownload
a fresh copy of 10.10 and try to install from bootable USB pen drive, it failsI
think is a problem with the pen drive, so I downloaded a fresh copy of the USB
pen drive creator image, create the bootable USB pen drive but it failed again.
(2Gb pen drive). So I reinstall the 10.04 (from a USB pen drive bootable) and
when I had more time I will try again.
Thanks for your time and Happy New Year!

Title:
Can't find disk drive after upgrade to netbook 10.10

Status in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
After upgrade from Ubuntu netbook 10.04 to 10.10 (using the network)
everything finished OK, the system reboots and the menu appears to select which
version/partition/Operating system I want to boot.
I can boot Windows OK, but not Ubuntu, neither the "safe mode" (or whatever it
is called).
After a while a message (I didn't copy it) appears saying that it can't find
the disk.
I have a Toshiba mini
What else should I do or comment?
Thanks
