Well I tried the procedure listed by "Viktors Petrov's post 14 "

Can somebody who understands the output/result of those steps go through
the attached file and confirm if my effort to patch " usb-
wwan-2.6.34.diff " was a success or a failure ?

However after running the above My Gobi 2000 device is still as elusive
as before :(

the 'dmesg' and 'lsmod' commands record the following activity ...
