The bug was fixed with the development release... I have maintained upgrading the development release until this weekend and then went back and installed the current version of AMD64.. working fine... thanks.. .sorry ...thought I had reported the bug was not existent in the development release... If you want me to test other releases on my HP laptop, I will be glad to do so..thanks to all who made this possible..
