Thanks a lot for reporting this. The problem you describe arises from
an inconsistency in the behaviour of the calendar applet and of the rest
of the indicator applets. However, I have noticed from the latest 11.04
development release that the calendar applet has been redesigned to
behave like the others, so there should no longer be a problem once
Natty is released. Closing bug report.
