I have tested linux-
image-2.6.37-020637rc2-generic_2.6.37-020637rc2.201011160905_amd64
(Maverick, dated November 16) and linux-
image-2.6.37-999-generic_2.6.37-999.201101131119_amd64 (current, dated
today), with the same result (light is still lit). The only change I
noticed was that each kernel gave me a different set of warnings than
the MMIO reservation warning I'm used to before X starts. I tried using
apport-collect with each kernel, but I kept getting errors stating that
this isn't an Ubuntu kernel, so apport exited without submitting the
data.
