I just tested the most recent daily build (2.6.37-999.201101131119) and
the internal microphone works. There is no additional input device but
the built-in microphone is automatically used unless I plug something
else. The current Ubuntu stock kernel (2.6.37-12) the built-in
microphone seems to be ignored. It seems this is not an upstream bug.
