Actually, I've just tested this bug on Ubuntu 10.10, and I am unable to
reproduce the behaviour you describe. When I enter an IP address into
the field displayed in the screenshots you provided, the input is
autosaved when I click out of it but without pressing [ENTER]
beforehand. Noting the date on the original bug report, I see that this
was reported before the release of Maverick. Can you please verify that
this bug is still present on your system after you upgrade?
