I ran into this today and can confirm the behavior. It would be really good if
tomboy would give a more
useful error message (or any error message at other than that it failed to
sync). A simple fix seems to
be to obtain the token from ubuntu-sso-login and compare it to the token that
tomboy uses in gconf.
Or just not store the token in gconf at all and always get it via
ubuntu-sso-login.
