Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

Steps to reproduce:

*Use the 'passwd -d <username>' command to have a user that is not protected
with a password
*This user will be able to log in with in command line without being prompted
to give a password, but will be unable to log in from gdm, because it waits for
a password but it does not accept any (nor an empty one nor the old password) :(
