Now I know the reason why it doesn't work with the v3xx. Because the v3xx needs the following 3 modem commands: Init1 = ATZ Init2 = AT+CGATT=0 Init3 = AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","drei.at","0.0.0.0",0,0
And the Nokia 5800 only needs the last 2: Init1 = ATZ Init2 = AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","drei.at","0.0.0.0",0,0 Is there a way to "learn" networkmanager to use the "AT+CGATT=0" command at the v3xx? I think this would be the solution. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/687741 Title: Connecting through mobilephone with networkmanager doesn't work but wvdial does -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
