Don't know if this is helpful, but I've L-M-C patched with overo support. I created an overo hwpack by hand using the x-loader mentioned above and the overo u-boot from: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/natty/armel/u-boot-linaro-omap3-overo/2010.12-0ubuntu1
My L-M-C patch can be viewed at: http://pastebin.com/MfHmfVgF The main thing I question about the patch is the 'extra_boot_args_options'. I'm not sure what all options this board needs yet.
