Public bug reported: I have an XBox 360 Controller, which works fine for using. However, if I pull it's plug, the specific USB bus(?) crashes and all connected USB devices vanish from lsusb until the next reboot.
There are no applications using the corresponding event/js dev nodes at the time of the unplugging. This is 100% reproducible. Steps: 1. Plug in xbox 360 controller 2. xpad driver will automatically get loaded 3. unplug the controller (you don't have to use it) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: linux-image-2.6.35-24-generic 2.6.35-24.42 Regression: No Reproducible: Yes ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-24.42-generic 2.6.35.8 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-24-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: wl AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.23.
