Public bug reported:

I have an XBox 360 Controller, which works fine for using.
However, if I pull it's plug, the specific USB bus(?) crashes and all
connected USB devices vanish from lsusb until the next reboot.

There are no applications using the corresponding event/js dev nodes
at the time of the unplugging.

This alone might simply suggest a problem with my laptop (a Dell Latitude
E4310).
--> But: If I unload the xpad kernel module prior to the unplugging - then the
USB
bus stays alive!

This is 100% reproducible. Steps:

1. Plug in xbox 360 controller
2. xpad driver will automatically get loaded
3. unplug the controller (you don't have to use it)
