Hi, thanks for submitting this bug report.
xfce4-terminal actually does support emitting a system beep via the
terminal, but disables it by default, and does not offer access to this
"advanced" feature via the GUI preferences. Look under "Hidden Options"
in /usr/share/doc/xfce4-terminal/html/C/advanced.html for how to enable
it.
