I am not sure how this bug can be solved, Paul's comments seem to indicate that there's no good test for this. If it is a FTBFS with hardfloat (which is not yet supported in Ubuntu) Konstantinos can you offer a solution? The app may rely on the behaviour it tests for so I am not sure whether making the test itself pass would solve much. I am open to any suggestion as to how to fix this better (i.e. beyond Ubuntu FTBFS fix, which this initially was).
