Binary package hint: gnome-nettool
Just by coincidence I tried using Ping from Administration > Network
Tools.
It doesn't work! It says that I cannot ping anything, even though it
works just fine if I do it in a terminal. I can also see with tcpdump
that ping from this tool actually does work and nice replies are
received also.
Ping from terminal + tcpdump:
