Alright I am attaching a file. The file contains the commands to remove the necessary files. You may copy and paste the whole thing from the web browser into the terminal OR you may download the file and make it executable on your machine.
After running the commands to remove everything, run the find command again and attach the file here. sudo find / -name update-manager* > ~/Desktop/Find2 ((The find command WILL output some files. Thats fine. We were not removing all the update-manager files.)) ** Attachment added: "Removal Script" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/697568/+attachment/1801159/+files/Removal%20Script -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/697568 Title: package update-manager 1:0.134.11 [modified: usr/share/gconf/schemas /update-manager.schemas] failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
