I have the same laptop model, but with an Intel 64-big processor. What is the symptom you are reporting? My wireless works fine in all versions from 9.10 to 10.10 using the B43 proprietary driver. On my computer, pressing F2 toggles the wireless state, so pressing it 3 times after reboot disables it. By the way, it was not working on one occasion, but it was fixed by shutting down the computer, removing the power and battery, returning the battery and power, and booting again.
