Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: scim

I previously used scim input method in ubuntu 9.04 to type with gujarati
phonetic keyboard

now it is not available after I installed ubuntu 10.10

I was creating following environment variables

export XMODIFIERS='@im=SCIM'
export GTK_IM_MODULE="scim"
export XIM_PROGRAM="scim -d"
export QT_IM_MODULE="scim"

after that I tried to start scim with command

scim -d

and I received the following error

Smart Common Input Method 1.4.9

Launching a SCIM process with x11...
Loading socket Config module ...

Loading x11 FrontEnd module ...
Failed to load x11 FrontEnd module.
