Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: software-center

I can download anything from the Ubuntu software center, but in every
case there is some vital function missing. For example: I downloaded
AmSynth, but I can't bring up the virtual keyboard which renders the
program useless. I must be missing some important files, but NO ONE can
give me a clear understanding of what to do. Ubuntu sounds cool but I'm
unable to use your software; I'm about to give up on Ubuntu, can you
change my mind?
