Binary package hint: evolution

Whenever I try to use the calender, i.e. enter a new appoinment, it crashes. 
That seems to happen more frequently when I use the online-calender from 
Google, which I linked. It seems also, that the module crashes as soon as it 
tries to synchronize with the online calender.
In this way, Evolution is not usable for me.
