Only one speaker is working when playing audio files.
When running Windows, both speakers work.

Here is the alsa-info output,
http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=dab68dd823384578ea162ce64755dde2a82873b6

An issue of concern is that in the alsa-info output, at the Modprobe
options section, it shows as if snd_hda_intel is loaded twice, while it
appears only once in 'lsmod'.

Another issue of concern is that the same subsystem ID is found in two places
at patch_realtek.c,
http://git.alsa-project.org/?p=alsa-kernel.git;a=blob;f=sound/pci/hda/patch_realtek.c;hb=HEAD#l9897
and
http://git.alsa-project.org/?p=alsa-kernel.git;a=blob;f=sound/pci/hda/patch_realtek.c;hb=HEAD#l18793

This issue is being discussed at the Ubuntu-gr forum at
http://forum.ubuntu-gr.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=16466
