sorry for pitching in late after a long gap...

I have been busy updating my system and googling a lot to see if my cam 
can be fixed..
But I am yet to succeed.. I have updated my system to ubuntu 10.10 with 
option to  install updates daily.. so that makes my system up to date

while googleing I saw that if cam is R5U870 then will have to install 
some files.. I did all that but still I am not able to get my cam working

for your reference I am attaching lsusb of my system below.. Can you 
please guide me to find the correct files to be installed pleaseeeeeeeee
