I do agree completely. From the whole OOo suite, impress is, in my opinion, anyway the furthest away from being anywhere close to a programm that can be used professionally. And now it's not even possible anymore to use the fullscreen mode. I have switched to powerpoint when I have to give professional presentations -- way less embarassing.
OOo will be abandoned for LibreOffice in 11.04. However, since both started out with the same source code not too long ago, I doubt that such a step will solve this bug...
