I tried natty-alternate-amd64+mac.iso, but that didn't support booting via efi. I ended up using http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current /natty-desktop-amd64.iso, which now boots to the grub menu. It starts out with an "error: prefix is not set.", but later loads the menu. Selecting any option gives me a blank screen. The grub version in this build is 1.99~rc1-1ubuntu2.
I cannot run apport-collect or install and upstream kernel as this is a booting issue with a live cd. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/706204 Title: Can't boot Natty Alpha 1 via EFI -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
