I found a key in gconf-editor named 
/desktop/gnome/peripherals/SynPS@47@2@32@Synaptics@32@TouchPad/off
wich is set in zero by default.
I have changed this key manualy to diferents values but, aparently, this don't 
fix the problem.
However, then of this changes, I reactivate the mousepad with FN+F7 and it 
works!!

I think the change made in the above key, made changes in some
configuation file.
