I don't have a problem with the Freenode edit window as described in the
original report, but the Settings > Preferences window cannot be
resized, has no scrollbar, and does not entirely fit on my screen. I
initially assumed the settings were automagically saved because it
seemed there was no Save button. On closer inspection I can see about 3
pixels of the Save button just at the bottom of my screen.

Asus EEE PC 1001p screen has 1024x600. Using Ubuntu netbook edition
10.10.
