sorry may have misunderstood. virtualbox version ... whatever was current with ubuntu 9 imported and exported possibly ubuntu 8 created But it happened again when creating on Ubuntu 10.04 and exporting ... erasing hard-drive, fresh install and trying to import (making sure all updates were done).
