This issue is presenting a problem for my email client (Thunderbird). Thunderbird apparently takes its time format from the OS Locale. Despite the fact that every time settings on my computer is set to 24-hour, Thunderbird always shows AM/PM and it appears there's no way to get Thunderbird to display 24-hour for a U.S. Locale because of the OS locale setting.
Within the U.S., there are whole work forces that operate only on 24-hour time. So this is a problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/694470 Title: When I print a page from the internet, the time always displays in AM/PM even though I have all visible clocks set to 24 hour time. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
