this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work,
I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.
I have confirmed with the dasher developers that you need to enable
System / Preferences / Assistive Technologies / assistive technologies
because of the way it is compiled. Since the package in git is compiled
differently, it does not need this.
Could you try with System / Preferences / Assistive Technologies /
assistive technologies enabled and at-spi running? Let us know if it
still crashes for you.
