Public bug reported:
Booting kernel 2.6.38-1.27 on this laptop with an intel 855gme chipset
gives me completely garbled graphics as soon as KMS kicks in (just after
grub). Neither X nor the console give any sensible output. Other than
that, the computer runs fine.
I'm attaching output from ubuntu-bug -p linux.
