Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution-exchange

I cannot connect to the exchange server. When clicking on "authenticate"
in the second step, first time the pop-up window tries to connect using
"username" as typed in the field in step 2, see screen dump. However, if
that fails, second time I try to authenticate it tries to connect to
what's before the "@"-sign in the e-mail address typed in step 1. It
then fails again and wont take the input in the field "username" any
more. However, this behaviour was not shown when using a total fake
address as e-mail address and OWA - then it displays correctly.

I have successfully been able to connect using androids (2.1/2.2) built
exchange support by supplying domain\username as "username" and
webmail.domain.com as OWA - although the term used in android is simply
"server". There seem to exist some confusion on in what form evolution
want your details to be supplied. Maybe you could look to the android
for ideas of how to clarify excactly what form of information you want
(I prefer server to OWA URL), and calrify how username should be typed
(with domain first\username).
