Public bug reported:
I cannot find Network manager anywhere except the components files when
I do a search and Software center says it's install, But cannot choose
which network to connect to or see the signal strenght icon in the
pannel and now I'm having a hard time connecting to encrypted networks
that I used to connect to automatically... Also some other programs such
as Google Earth are showing in my applications but nothing happens when
I try to lunch them although they are installed...
