** Description changed: ***Upstream alsa-driver and linux 2.6.37-rc2 already tested*** I'm using ubuntu 10.10 with latest updates on Toshiba X505-Q887 laptop. The problem is that I can't get headphones and internal mic work at the same time. By default headphones work, but mic does not. If I put 'options snd-hda-intel model=laptop position_fix=1 enable=yes' into /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf microphone starts working but headphones stops (sound plays via speakers). I tried different combinations with no luck.
