OK I got bounced by successive git bisect bad's all the way down to
wine-1.2-1-g6f2893e

Which failed again, and then

This doesn't make much sense, most likely I have got the build wrong,
but then how did the Commandos 2 install work without problems...

Will try
- 1.2.2 PPA
- Nvdidia latest driver, though I'm only one revision behind the latest release 
this month
