Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-image
If I connect a ADATA N005 USB3 thumb drive to a ASUS motherboard (model
M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3) the thumb drive is only connected as a USB2 device.
The USB3 host controller is a NEC uPD720200 USB 3.0 onboard chip (usb
bus 8). The thumb drive is connected as "Port 2: Dev 5" (please see the
"lsusb -t" output below) and not under "bus 8".
Some output:
#lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 10.10
Release: 10.10
#linux-image
linux-image-2.6.35-25-generic, version 2.6.35-25.44
