I would also like to know why Canonical/Ubuntu isn't addressing this
issue.  It has been present since 10.10 was released months ago.  It's
severe and makes it very hard to use Ubuntu as a daily workstation.
I've been running Linux as my primary OS for nearly 7 years and this is
the worst bug yet.  The thought of making it half way through a switch
implementation and having Ubuntu crash, causing all of my time and work
to be lost is disheartening.
