Agreed. I used apt-get and got the suggests. When I tried via aptitude, the suggests was not there. I looked and there is nothing in the aptitude documenation to indicate this behavior is incorrect. If you think that recommended/suggested packages should be displayed by aptitude, then I think a wishlist bug against aptitude is in order.
