- Even though the required sox package has been installed and recognised by the
k3b, it says it cannot convert an MP3 file to WAV.
- I used to do this with a previous distribution and it used to work fine.
- System is KUbuntu Dapper Drake flight 6 up to date, k3b is v0.12.14, sox is
v.12.17.9.
- I'm not sure whether the problem is in k3b per se or it's due to something
wong in the compiled packages.
- By the way, I think it could be a good idea to make k3b depend upon sox: I
had torequest to install sox manually.
+ k3b does not display a helpfull message explaining that you need to
+ install libk3b2-mp3 which is in universe to be able to create audio cds
+ from mp3 files
