My environment is:
HP Elitebook 8530w
Nvidia Quadro FX570 w/ Cuda
Intel Wireless N 5300
Broadcom GbE NIC
Ubuntu 10.10 x86_64

These freezes/crashes result in total lockup. Power off is the only
recourse. This usually happens when disconnecting the power cord, after
resuming from suspend.

Scenario 1:
Working from home,
Suspend and take my notebook to the office
Dock it in the docking station and turn it on
LOCK UP

Scenario 2:
Working in the office with my notebook docked in the docking station
Nvidia settings is Twinview with my notebook monitor and an LCD screen
Disable the LCD and prepare to go home
Undock the notebook because I want to suspend and leave
LOCK UP

Scenario 3:
Wake up from suspend undocked
Crank up Chromium Browser
Scroll down a long page, like this one with all of these bug threads
LOCK UP
