Hi - I submitted a small python hack as a workaround for this problem; it was driving me crazy too. Here's a link:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/606238/comments/39 It simply disables the touchpad when keyboard activity is detected, then reenables it very shortly after the keyboard activity stops. I'm looking forward to decommissioning it :-) Graham -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/550625 Title: Alps touchpad is recognized but synaptics clients and scrolling do not work -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
