By the way, Reed, firefox crashes a lot for me -- even though when I installed it I made almost no configuration changes -- none that I can think of.
Whenever I run some program that installs a plugin -- like MPlayer, I am extremely careful not to touch anything that I don't have to. Did I ask you how to get it to produce a crash log?
