Just tried this now and it looks like hibernate has been disabled or something like that...I can grab some more details tomorrow when I have a bit more time, what info is most important? I am running Natty now on this machine.
# echo disk > /sys/power/state bash: echo: write error: Function not implemented # uname -a Linux joyce 2.6.38-1-generic #28-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jan 28 15:26:43 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Also as you can probably see this machine has been through several upgrades without a fresh install (all the way from edgy or feisty I think). So if it is likely that there are config issues that could cause the issue I can also try from a live CD (not sure how old the latest natty pre release is at the moment...) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/340675 Title: [TOSHIBA dynabook SS RX1/T7E] hibernate/resume failure -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
